A Legacy of Faithful Service
An important expression of the Highway Trust’s vision for Christian hospitality is found in Thornleigh Christian Hotel.
Situated in the coastal town of Grange-over-Sands on the edge of Morecambe Bay, Thornleigh has for many years provided a place where individuals and groups can enjoy rest, fellowship, and spiritual encouragement.
With panoramic views across the bay and wide open skies, Thornleigh offers a peaceful environment where guests are welcomed warmly and cared for throughout their stay. The hotel hosts a variety of themed breaks and church gatherings.
Friendship, Welcome & Fellowship
A Place to Return To
For many guests, Thornleigh has become a place they return to year after year — drawn by its atmosphere of friendship, thoughtful hospitality, and Christian fellowship.
While Thornleigh operates under its own trusteeship and management, the property remains part of the Highway Trust’s heritage. The Trust continues to act as steward of this important asset, recognising its enduring value to Christian ministry.
A place shaped by Christian conviction and welcome.
